Summer!!!
It has been a hot one here in Texas.. not like last summer, but still hot!
I spent some time at home in Mn this summer and taught summer school- 8th grade Math and Spec Ed --Autism. In the beginning of August I will be headed to Michigan for my dear friend Heidi's wedding.
This past school year was crazy but good-overall! I am waiting to see where I will be at this fall... I am looking forward to changes and excited to start again with the kids. I wish Texas had more trees and cool lakes like home and that my good friends were not so far away-- this is all an experience and I know I am privileged to have it- so I am enjoying it... more to come later about this coming school year and the Michigan/wedding trip! :)

Moving...
Hey!
So I finishe up at GVSU in Michigan and decided that I would move on down to the constistently hottest place I have been in my life.. Texas! It was 100+ degrees for about 54 days this summer... I am a jeans and sweatshit girl, so this move is an interesting one!
So I drove from Michigan to my beloved Minnesota, to stop and get some things to mve down here... I met my dad's awesome girlfriend and saw pictures my dad had with of my two new baby twin neices! They are adoreable- Kamryn Lee and Kaylynn Anne Maree, they were tiny little girls only 4 and 5 pounds, but healthy, which is what counts! I left on Saturday the 1st of August to drive down to Texas, with much road construction, I made it to Des Moines, to see my friend Kylie. She is going to school there, she is a friend from GVSU, we visited for an hour or so and then she went back to studying and I went back to driving. I drove into Kansas and stopped for the night. I went on my way on Sunday morning, and it was in the 80s most of my drive until I it the Texas border, instantly it was 100! I could hardly believe it! I of course was a tourist and got out at the rest stop, documented my arrival and quickly got back into my not so cool car - it heats up so fast at 100 degrees! I made it to San Antonio in the evening, more than thankful to be at my aunt and uncle's home. 2 days on I-35 South... literally almost on its whole existance (2.5 more hours of it to Mexico and from MSP 3 or so up to Duluth... so I miss only about 6 hours of it!)... My apartment was not ready for me so I stayed with them for the next few days. I interviewed more and did other job related things... then it was time to leave for California on Wednesday- I was so ready to go!! :)
